Course description:

The Training Course on Best Practise in Mining Sites Rehabilitation is a unique development program for students and professionals in Mine Rehabilitation. It provides participants with the best practises, develops their capabilities, improves their communication skills, and enables them to become experts with broader knowledge of the entire field.

 

The training course is designed as a comprehensive set of interconnected professional lessons, technical visits. The five-days training course consists of 10 expert lectures and 2 full day field trips with expert interpretation.

 

 

Training fee:             before February 28, 2025 – 950,- EUR (incl. VAT)

                                   after February 28, 2025 –050,- EUR (incl. VAT)

Lectures are given by the experts from the leading organizations from the Czech Republic, like Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of Czech Technical University, DIAMO, s. e., OPV, s.r.o. and other independent experts.

 

The training course consists of:

·         History of U production in the Czech Republic

·         Radiation safety, environmental monitoring

·         Best practice in environmental remediation after uranium mining and processing

·         Visit of former uranium mining area in Příbram transformed to Mining museum

·         Best practice in recultivations of open pits

·         Visit of former lignite mine in Most transformed to lake and recreation area

·         Overview of environmental studies

 

Training fee includes:

Qualified lecturers available all days, renting classrooms and equipment, technical visits and field trips with expert interpretation, all the transportation during the event, teaching materials in electronic form.
