Our vision: To significantly improve global and local access to radiation therapy that is evidence-based and tailored to each individual patient.
We are multidisciplinary medical physics research group committed to investigate various aspects of radiation oncology. Our research activities are mainly translational, aiming to bring the high-tech developments closer to the real clinical practice. Our expertise lies in dosimetry, medical physics, radiobiology, image-guidance, treatment planning and machine learning.
To optimize treatment outcome and increase the access to radiation oncology, the following topics are addressed in highly collaborative manner:
- Democratization of radiation oncology with upright positioning
- DNA, protein, cell and tissue culture radiobiology
- Improving precision in radiotherapy with cutting-edge image guidance
- Exploring and utilization of state-of-art tools and modern detecting materials in dosimetry of radio-therapeutical beams
- Facilitating broad-scale implementation of modern photon and proton radiotherapy
